How to connect with Zapier?

This guide walks you through the full setup: connecting your source app, adding Tixio as the action, setting up your API key, mapping fields, and publishing your Zap.

πŸ”§ Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • An active Tixio CRM account

  • A Zapier account

  • A Tixio API Key (found under Settings β†’ Integrations β†’ API Keys)

  • Your lead source app ready (e.g., Google Sheets, Forms, Website, etc.)


Step-by-Step Setup Guide


Step 1: Create a New Zap

  1. Log into your Zapier dashboard.

  2. Click Create Zap in the top-left corner.


Step 2: Choose Your Trigger App

This is the app where the lead originates.

Example: Using Google Sheets as the Trigger

  1. Search for Google Sheets.

  2. Select the trigger event:
    New or Updated Spreadsheet Row

  3. Connect your Google account if you haven't already.

  4. Select: The spreadsheet , The worksheet & Trigger

  5. Click Test Trigger to fetch sample data.

Zapier will now display one row from your sheet as the sample lead.


Step 3: Add Tixio CRM as the Action App

  1. Click + Add Action.

  2. Search and select Tixio.

  3. Choose the action event:
    Create Lead, Create Deal, Create Company etc.


Step 4: Connect Tixio Using Your API Key

  1. A popup will appear asking for authentication.

  2. Go to:
    Tixio β†’ CRM Settings β†’ API Keys

  3. Copy your API Key.

  4. Paste it into Zapier and click Connect.

Your Tixio account will now be linked to Zapier.


Step 5: Configure the Tixio Action

You will now see several fields to configure:

  • Title

  • Type (Lead or Deal)

  • Status

  • Priority

  • Additional fields (expand using Show All Fields)

Map your source data:

Click on each field and select the corresponding value from your trigger app.

Example:

  • Title β†’ Company Name (from Google Sheets)

  • Type β†’ LEAD

  • Status β†’ Qualified

  • Priority β†’ Normal

You may also map:

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Contact person’s name

  • Notes

  • Value

  • Custom CRM fields


Step 6: Test the Action

  1. Click Test Step.

  2. Zapier will create a test lead inside your Tixio CRM account.

  3. Go to Tixio CRM β†’ Leads/Deals to confirm the entry.

If everything looks correct, proceed to publish.


Step 7: Publish Your Zap

Click Publish at the top right.

Your integration is now active and will automatically create leads/deals every time a new entry appears in your trigger app.
